Chapter 65 Lauren Doesn’t Want to Stay in This City Anymore

• Axel was startled. “You’re not staying in Collins Residence, Lauren? Where are you currently staying, then?”
• “I’m staying in a hotel.” Lauren turned and looked at the man who was driving, flashing him a faint smile. “Axel, I no longer have a place to go.”
• As soon as he heard those words, dread swamped Axel. He’d always thought that Mr. Collins was forced to disown Lauren back then to placate Ethan. But from the look of things now, that doesn’t seem to be the case. “Don’t be afraid, Lauren. As long as I’m here, you’ll always have a place to go. Thus, there’s no reason for you to stay in a hotel when you’re in Copper City,” he asserted softly as he stretched out a hand and took hers in a gesture of comfort. “I have a villa on Estuary Street, so you can stay there.”
