Chapter 23 All He Does Is Sully Me

• Lauren tried to force her way in, but Mr. Long refused to grant her passage. They were in a stalemate when the iron gate swung open. Lauren tried to go inside, but before she could do anything, someone slapped her. Obviously, the perpetrator didn’t hold back, for the slap left a mark on her face.
• “You’re alive, Lauren? Why are you still alive? Why aren’t you dead in prison?!” someone screamed shrilly. When Lauren looked in the voice’s direction, she saw a gorgeous woman before her. Lauren knew who she was, for the lady was Willow, Ethan’s most beloved sister.
• Lauren looked at her quietly, and at the same time, Willow was horrified when she saw Lauren clearly, for Lauren was a far cry from her old self. This isn’t the same dazzling woman that I knew!
