She was like an elegant, white rose; a girl that was charming yet not too flirtatious, a girl whose beauty would be etched in the mind of others once they laid eyes upon her. Just as Tyler was walking toward her, the smile in his eyes turned as cold as ice as he realized what was happening—a part of the stage’s frame that had been set up was crashing down toward the stage for some reason. “Watch out, Lauren!” Tyler howled as he sprinted toward her.

Then, he could only watch as Tyler ran forward and brought Lauren into his embrace while the crashing piece of metal struck against his back, it’s sharp edge landing right on the back of his head before they had a chance to escape. Lauren was safe and sound as she lay in his arms, but everything had happened too quickly—it felt like it all occurred in the blink of an eye. By the time the audience came back to their senses, Tyler was already lying in a pool of his own blood as Lauren clung onto him, her eyes wide and filled with fear as tears began to stream down her cheeks.
