• Nora let out after Luca left again, if only he had come early, she would have been able to speak with Roseline but he chose to come late and had the mind to tell her to go to bed without speaking to her, well, he found out the hard way that he shouldn’t be messing with her. Nora wondered what he did all day that made him so tired, Yes, she saw how tired he looked but that didn’t mean she felt bad for treating him the way she did, if he had not called Roseline, she would not have let him have his peace. Too bad Rose didn’t pick up, at least he said she could speak to her tomorrow, that’s if he keeps his promise. With his track record, she didn’t want to hope too much to avoid disappointment. She forced herself to go to sleep, hoping that when she woke up, it would be morning and the crazy man would let her speak to her friend.

She couldn’t tell which was which and couldn’t call for them either because that crazy man had disconnected the button and she didn’t want to shout, the screams of last night did a number to her voice and her throat kind of felt sore.
