Chapter 21

• Nora looked around to make sure no one was close by, she didn’t care where she would end up or the fact that she didn’t have anything, not money or identifications, she just needed to get out of the hellhole called a hospital, ever since she found out that bastard who put her in her current situation owns the hospital, she wanted to get away but the opportunity only presented itself now. All she needed to do was get out of the hospital, find the nearest phone service and call Roseline and also look for her country’s embassy in the city. Hopefully, it is close; if not, she would have to report to the police station. She didn’t care how it went, all she cared about was getting out of anything related to that man. To think she had found him attractive before she knew who he was, the thought of how she had been drooling for him while he walked towards her yesterday still made her mad.
• She still knew nothing about him except his name and that he was very handsome. She had no idea who he was and why he took her and crippled her and still won’t let her go despite begging for her freedom which is why she had taken matters into her hands and waited till no one was around again to implement her plans. If her plans go well, she would be out of the hospital and that bastard would never find her again.
• Nora pushed her wheelchair towards the corner, she knew where she was going, she saw the door earlier when Luca had been taking her back to her room and made a mental note to use the door, it had to lead her out of the hospital or at least lead her somewhere that would lead her out of the hospital. She finally figured out why there were mainly male patients in the hospital, she just needed to see how all of them had one injury or the other to figure out that Luca had a gang and those injuries the men had might be from fighting other gangs or themselves. The last thing she wanted to do was remain in a hospital that housed gang members, she knew those kinds of people were always up to no good and she didn’t want to be near them.
