Chapter 12

• Luca woke up the next morning on the couch, he must have fallen asleep while waiting to get the call from the doctor. He never got to rest after his flight yesterday. That explains a lot. He got up and walked to his restroom to take a bath after which he got dressed and hurried downstairs to get to his car, he commanded his driver to take him to the hospital and went directly to the doctor’s office.
• “Doc? I didn’t get your call last night. I waited up but it never came and I fell asleep because I had a long flight and didn’t have time to rest.”
• Luca told the doctor who stood up to greet him.
