Chapter 24

• When her parents had passed within one month of each other, she had been broken when her mom died and they were still planning her burial when her father had passed too. Rose had closed her shop for the whole time between when her mom died and her dad did too and spent the whole time with her being her support system. When her extended family had accused her of doing something that caused their death just so she could inherit what they owned, it was Rose and her parents that stood by her and Rose’s father who was a lawyer was the reason she got everything that her parent left to her.
• She owned the family so much that she couldn’t repay and she hated the fact that she made Rose worried about her.
• “Nora, go to sleep,” She told herself but it was easier said than done. She knew she had to fall asleep for the new day to come early but sleep refused to find her. She gave up trying to force herself to sleep and just laid their eyes wide up for the next couple of hours, she didn’t know when she eventually fell asleep.
