Chapter 114

• Even though she told herself that it didn’t matter if he didn’t feel the same, Nora still felt a tad bit of ache in her heart when he grew stiff and silent after she told him she loved him, long after he fell asleep, she laid awake in his arms, even in his sleep, he was super protective and possessive as she tried to get out of his arms a couple of times but failed because he tightened his hold on her each time she tried to get out. She only managed to create a small space between them so that she could have a good view of his handsome face as he slept. He went from being someone she hated and feared to someone she loved so much and who she couldn’t see herself living without. He opened her heart to new feelings that she never thought she would feel towards another human, especially a man.
• It happened so fast and now she couldn’t even remember not feeling like this towards him, she had only known him for a little over a month and he had become an important part of her life. She feared for the day she would have to leave his side; she knew that day would come. She just needed to prepare for the heartbreak that she would face when it finally came.
• Nora once again tried to ease out of his arms but again, he didn’t let her go. She smiled. He might not love her, but he definitely was possessive of her, at least he was in his sleep.
