Chapter 101

• Luca let out a sigh of relief when he finally held Nora in his arms, all the fear he felt earlier washing away, she was alright and safe, he found her. The thought that ran through his mind and throughout the day was that he might find her a little too late and that had been hard for him. After making sure no one else was coming from within the house, Luca lifted Nora into his arms and carried her to where his car was. She was still crying and looked so scared, it broke his heart to see her like that. The fact that she had been trying to escape when he found her, she didn’t just sit still and wait for him, she wanted to get away on her own. A strong woman that he didn’t deserve.
• “You are okay now, Cara, I got you, I found you,”
• Luca whispered as he hugged her close once he got her into his car. He stayed with her like that just comforting her even though he knew they should leave the place to prevent any further issues, so far, none of his own has been hit or injured but if Claudia decides to return with more people, it would be hard to keep everyone safe, the goal was to find Nora. Everything else will follow once he is sure she is safe and out of reach for Claudia.
