Chapter 15

• Nora felt herself floating, she couldn’t open her eyes even though she wanted to, it felt like a force was pulling into the abyss of nothingness that she was trying to escape from. She tried so hard to fight against it but the more she fought, the further the forces pulled her into the darkness, she felt trapped and wanted to get out of the trap but nothing was working and she was slowly losing her mind, she didn’t want the darkness to win but she didn’t know what to do to win either, she knew if she loses it might be the end of her and the last thing she wanted was to die now, she was too young to die, with that thought, she fought as much as she could but it was still fruitless. She paused to grab the situation and even that made things worse for her as the darkness slowly crept in and slowly started to win, she let out a deep-throated yell and opened her eyes in fear. She had to close them again as bright lights nearly blinded her, she stayed with her eyes closed for a moment and gradually opened them, she looked around as far as her eyes could go because she still couldn’t move, at first, she thought she was dead and in heaven because of how white the background was but she heard the beeping of a machine and slowly moved her eyes to the direction. She realized she was in the hospital and there was an oxygen mask over her face. Nora blinked and tried to move but she couldn’t. the door to the room opened and someone walked in but she couldn’t make out who it was and her heartbeat accelerated in fear, what if this wasn’t a real hospital and the people who wanted her dead were still here and they still wanted to kill her, she couldn’t defend herself when she couldn’t even move. The person that walked into the room finally came into the picture, Nora could not make out his face because her eyes were blurry but she knew it was a male and he was pointing something at her eyes, she blinked to tell him off and he stopped.
• “You are awake, that’s good. It is good to have you back,”
• The man standing before she said, she could only stare at him as he went about doing his thing, she realized he was the doctor but he couldn’t speak up, it was as if she lost her voice after that scream, the fact that she wasn’t dead but in a hospital still shocked her. The last thing she remembered was that huge demonic chair falling on her and the darkness that followed. She thought she passed away and it was the worst feeling in the world, at least she was still here even though she didn’t know how she ended up in the hospital when that man had wanted her dead.
