• I stared at Kiara completely stunned. There was no hint of remorse on her face. How was this possible? How could they all be this heartless? Why would we blame the death of parents on a little child? That was going to ruin the child’s life. I didn’t understand the concept of blaming a child for the death of their parents. Neither did I want to see what punishment the pack was going to inflict on her once they found out that she had murdered their Alpha and Luna. It didn’t make sense to me.
• Kiara rose from the bed and walked towards me. There was something wrong about this. I couldn’t be a part of this. But the decision had already been made. There was nothing I could do now. All I could do was hope that I didn’t destroy the life of a child just because my father wanted me to prove that I was capable of spilling blood.
