• I was in disbelief. I was lost. How did it turn out like this? This wasn’t the way things were supposed to go. I wasn’t supposed to be reduced to a mere plaything. But I had seen this coming. I knew that this was what was going to happen once I decided to go with King Dane. But to be treated inhumanely was something I never imagined.
• I wasn’t even a servant here. Here, I was nothing. Back at the Silvermoon pack, I had an identity. But here, I lost it. I couldn’t tell who I was anymore. I wasn’t that girl who wanted to prove everyone wrong and show them how innocent she was. Here I was just a ghost in a shell, trapped in a castle with no hope of escape.
