• Kiara was the most annoying person I’ve ever met, but seeing her at the hands of King Dane was something I couldn’t bring myself to watch. He was going to kill her. I realized this when he tore off the shirt from his body. The buttons flew across the hallway, some falling on me. He was furious with Kiara which scared me.
• And so when I watched him grab her and slam her against the wall, I flinched in fright. Kiara groaned in pain and tried to wriggle free from Dane’s strong grip but it was of no use. He was strong and wasn’t going to let go. Through the dimly lit hallway, I could see his face reddened with anger, and his icy blue eyes cold and expressionless. He was going to kill her.
