• It was nothing short of a miracle. The knock on the door had prompted him to stop. My heart was thumping hard against my chest. Seconds ago, I was frightened by the thought of my next punishment which was being hung by the cuffs he had chained to the ceiling. There was no doubt that I would have been left there all night.
• His objective was to tame me. I never thought of myself as a wild type. I obeyed every instruction he gave me, doing things I never thought I would do. I was petrified at the thought of defying him. And yet he still saw me as a disobedient slave.
