• She was okay. I had gotten here just in time. I was scared. What if they had killed her before I got the chance to save her? I was lucky that the council had finished just in time. And by the time I walked out of the courthouse, I heard her scream my name. Seeing her being molested by werewolves drove me insane. My wolf had broken through my skin barrier before I could think of shapeshifting, letting itself free. We had taken them down with so much ease.
• But I was confused. How had werewolves been able to get into the castle? There were no guards at the first gate which was also weird. Tobias who was supposed to be there had been cast out by me. That was one of the reasons it was empty.
