• I walked out of the courthouse with a smile on my face. Everything was going according to plan. I was surprised that it worked out just the way I had planned it. Things would have run out of control. Dane had snapped and almost took Tristan’s head off. But that didn’t matter. I was going to finish what I started before he figured it out.
• While I was being locked up in the bathroom, I realized that it was time for me to act. If I kept wasting time, I was going to regret it later on. And I almost did. But that act from Dane had driven me into action. I realized that he was not going to let me go if I ever did something to Lusia. So the best way to get back at them was to attack him first.
