- “Wow!” Tris exclaims, her fingers gliding through the silky strands, the opaque ginger highlighted with vibrant streaks of dark red, copper, and reddish brown. “Your hair is one of the healthiest and thickest I’ve seen. And this cut that Sylvia gave you is perfect. It adds bounce without sacrificing length.”
- Sylvia nods, busy sweeping up the piles of hair around my chair. My jaw had dropped when she snipped six inches off the bottom in one swift motion, but once she finished cutting and styling, I didn’t care. My head feels ten pounds lighter.
- “Your color took well, but don’t wash it too much if you want it to last, okay?”
