Chapter 13 Hot Fantasy With My Boss

• I'm pretty predictable when it comes to sleeping. Every night around 3:00 am, I wake up, lying face down, hugging my pillow. I've been doing this for as long as I can remember, even when I'm alone in my room, even in dead silence. Last night was the exception. Tonight, it seems I'm back on schedule. I lie in bed, listening to the shallow breathing of five other women, hoping that will help me fall back asleep.
• At first, I'm not quite sure what I'm hearing. I know it's coming from Katie and Rachel's bunk, which runs perpendicular to ours. It's placed slightly behind ours, and so close that if both Katie and I reached out our arms, we could touch fingertips.
• The window curtains darken the cabin well, but don't completely block out the lights shining from outside. The privacy curtain helps with that. Only Autumn and my curtain aren't long enough and there's a gap near my head. Tonight, Katie and Rachel haven't fully closed the curtain and the light shines on the end of the bottom bunk. It takes a few blinks for my eyes to adjust to being awake and process what I see.
