Chapter 338 Trying To Work

• One minute I was standing there, leaning on Jace, and then everything went blank. When I wake up, I’m in bed with Jace beside me. He’s finally asleep for once, his breathing steady, his body relaxed. He’s been running himself ragged trying to keep everything in check for the weekend, and every time I’ve offered to help, he’s turned me down. He keeps insisting I need more time to recover before jumping back into anything too stressful.
• Today, though, I’ve decided he’s not going to have much of a say. We’re for some reaosn in the other bedroom the one with the lock, which gives me a chance to move things forward myself.
