• I spend the next hour walking through the building, checking in on the women and ensuring everything’s running smoothly. A small part of me hopes to see Lilly, but another part is relieved that I don’t. The thought of her being with another guy—it shouldn’t bother me, but it does, more than I want to admit.
• When I return to the office, it’s empty. Justin and Dante are gone, leaving the space blessedly quiet. Sinking into my chair, I pull up the security feeds, watching the screens closely. Everything appears calm, and for a while, I lose myself in the monotony of monitoring the club’s activity.
