• I let them do my hair and makeup, all while I talk more about my stalker, mostly because Lilly is absolutely fascinated by him. She listens intently as I share details about the gifts he’s left and the unsettling attention he gives me. But I can’t help but feel a strange relief, like these women understand me without judgment.
• Once I’m ready, Sasha leads me to Dante’s office. As I step inside, I feel his eyes on me instantly. His gaze is intense, and for some reason, it makes me want to smile—he actually noticed. It feels... different. I walk toward Justin, and he barely glances up from his phone. He gives me a brief look, then goes right back to scrolling.
