Chapter 70

• Nightfall has begun and the two of you followed the same procedures as last time for changing vehicles. This time you had an old camper van. Jimmy was taking you further into the countryside. You were lying down on the bench seat in the very back of the van. Sleep was calling your name, but you didn’t want to leave Jimmy to drive all night again while you slept.
• “Jimmy?” you say in a sleepy voice.
• He chuckles as he looks in the rear-view mirror at you. “Yeah?”
