Chapter 64

• He gets up and walks around the house; you follow him, only now realizing how tall he is. You also notice, now that he’s moving around without his jacket on, that despite how lean he is, he seems to have a muscular body. His arm muscles are visible under his black t-shirt and his shoulders are wide and fit.
• He halts at the bedroom door, causing you to run into him. You grab his arm to steady yourself as you take a step back. He looks down at you. His expression makes you think he’s not used to having a woman near him.
• “Sorry,” you say, taking your hand off his arm.
