- One upside, a quieter so quicker commute. But that was lost among the downsides - shadowed only by Carlina’s spite. It seemed like she grew more of a spine, the more things went wrong. Chief couldn’t complain, as he was quite enjoying the increasing contrast between this recent development and the other side of the scale, only he got to see.
- New officers to manage, which had meant long days to start and a lot of frustration for Chief Brown, but it was thankfully a much more social station where he got along well with the new subordinates.
- A 5 percent pay cut, which meant there wasn’t a snowball’s chance in hell of Chief even looking at a new car that year.
