• You read the last message and clicked your phone off, choosing to ignore him.
• Anna left you alone and nursed her drink for the rest of the evening. At one point, she disappeared into the back room, then reappeared with some thug on her arm. She throws back the last of her drink and her heels click-clack as she walks out onto the concrete sidewalks.
• You rolled your eyes along with Nancy when Anna was out of your sight.
