• A hot scrub, shampoo, and a slathering of moisturizer later had you feeling ten times better.
• You strode out into the living room and settled under the blanket next to Heather. You had put on your favorite movie and before you knew it, you were dozing off, Heather's snoring right next to your ear.
• You tapped her shoulder, and she jolted up, muscles pulled tautly, and fists clenched. A moment later she eased and went to bed, waving goodnight to you. The sound of water running emanated from the bathroom, and the light flickered off as you pulled the sheets around your body.
