• The next day came and went without you seeing Nico. The following week passed much in the same manner. After two days, you had stopped looking for him and gave up any remaining hope of him showing up.
• Almost a month went by with no sign of him. You wished you had gotten his number so you could call him. Maybe he couldn't be seen with anyone because of work, you thought.
• The heavy sound of boots echoed through the empty club as chairs clack from being unstacked. You were so focused on your work; you don't see a large man entering.
