- Julian gulped nervously when Blaine edged towards him slowly. The kid looked regular enough, but he could never be too sure. After all, he had thought the same about Bee but had to eat his words when he saw her take out a man twice her size in a bar fight.
- Blaine stopped before him, staring him in the eyes with a look of disdain that Julian would have swiped off his face with a slap if Bee didn't have a bat trained on him.
- "How did you find me?" Bee repeated, coming to stand beside her brother, still raising the bat menacingly. She glared at him, but she wasn't really mad at him, only curious about what he was doing in the lower parts of London so late at night without fear for his noble, precious life.
