• Rosalind's eyes widened when she took in the sight of Edgar's swollen and battered face when he stepped into the general office. She had been waiting for him since morning, and she was ready to whine about that, but seeing his pitiful appearance, she decided to save that for later after she had gotten the piece of information she needed.
• She hurried over to him to support him, holding onto his hands gently, afraid to touch any other unknown place where he might be hurting aside from his face.
• "What happened? Who did this to you?" she asked worriedly.
