Chapter 37

• Juliet paced around her dimly lit bedroom worriedly with slow, unsteady steps. She had been trying to get through to Johnson's phone unsuccessfully.
• Laura stood to the side, calmly watching her. “Madam, please calm down and try it one more time,” she said, hoping to get her to calm down enough to do so.
• Juliet stopped pacing and turned to Laura with her eyes flashing wildly. “No, don't tell me that. I have been trying to, but he isn't picking up.” she snapped but picked up the phone nonetheless.
