Chapter 32
- Edgar sat motionless on the bed. He was alone in his dimly lit bedroom and his eyes were fixed on a spot in front of him, unmoving. He had been discharged from the hospital in the morning and had been in bed since then due to the doctor's advice.
- “Bro,” someone called and entered the room. Heading straight to open the window to let in the late afternoon sunlight. Edgar looked up to see Julian's face, and his expression was enough to convince him that the contract was lost. “We lost the contract,” Julian confirmed, coming to sit on the bed in front of him.
- Edgar didn't reply, but groaned and buried his head in his hands. It was already getting really frustrating for him to keep losing every contract they bade for. The board members are already on his neck, and their shareholders have been threatening to withdraw their shares if he doesn't find a way to revitalize the company's financial crisis.
