Chapter 40

• Aurélien’s eyes peeked open to stare at the sleeping woman in his arms. Steady streams of sunlight trickled in through some gaps in the curtain that covered the glass wall where the bed stood against. The morning sun rays illuminated his golden eyes which remained on the sleeping beauty beside him, her soft breath coming through her nose in cute little snores which were probably caused by her tears from yesterday. His heart clenched when he remembered her sobs yesterday, he would make sure to make it up to her today.
• Reaching out his hand to smoothen a lock of brown curly hair from her face. He took in her matured beauty, her straight nose, her pretty arched eyes with their lashes resting against her high cheekbones, fluttered ever slightly but didn't open, and her curvy slim lips which were tinged with pink were slightly opened; all this combined made her gorgeous. He slightly marvelled at how much she had changed over the years, from a cute chubby girl to a beautiful, curvy voluptuous model.
• Aurélien tried to get out of the bed, taking care not to disturb her. But he fell back, swallowing a groan when he realized her head was on his hand, and she was moving forward, snuggling into his chest sleepily. He grinned, using his other free hand to pull her tighter against him, enjoying the feel of her soft body against his hard one. ‘Better to enjoy it then.’ he thought and closed his eyes to catch some more sleep, her flowery scent wafting up to his nose as she clutched him closer.
