• Truth be told, Lachlan's words had hurt me. I could not believe he thought that way of me, and it made me question so many things about myself. I checked in with my brother that day, and my Mum. • I helped more around the house, and offered to spend more time with my brother, but both things were declined by my Mum and my brother. Seemingly, they both preferred things the way they had been. All three of us having our own ways to keep ourselves busy, so we soon returned to the way things had been. My escape being my studies, and my exercise. My Mum loved her roles within pack, despite them not being expected of her any longer; and my brother, of course was now fully immersed within his Gamma role, and enjoying every moment of it.
