Chapter 109 Seren

  • My first week of classes had been hectic. Meeting all my new tutors and, of course, all my new class mates. I was learning the new schedule that would become my new normal for the coming months. All while I learned my way around campus. And, I had to say I loved it! The place was massive, like a maze if you did not know your way around, but it was so fun, and there was so much to do.   • In truth, I had surprised myself with how easily I had settled in, and how equally easily I had made friends. Within my first two days of class I had met Laila and Charlie, both girls were within my General medicine class, and we instantly hit it off. We had so much in common, and when put together to work alongside one another we bonded over our love of music. We chatted as we worked, laughing so much, to the point we got ourselves in trouble! But, I loved every moment of it. And, the girls had barely left my side since.
  • Most evenings after classes had finished I spent time either at one of their dorms on campus, out at one of the many bars around campus or at the local diner, or they came to my place. Either way, the two girls were keeping me company, and at the same time they were keeping me distracted. Something I truly needed. I had gained some wonderful friends within this new world I had joined, and they were becoming the support network I believed I needed to work through this mess with Lachlan, even if both girls were not fully aware of the mess I had left behind...
