• I cross the entire room with my gaze fixed on him. Adam remains leaning on the railing, in his relaxed pose and never taking his eyes off me, until I reach his booth. The sparkle in his eyes is predatory, even hungry, and it sends shivers down my body.
• He only makes a move to stand up when I am close enough for him to help me up the short steps. Ironically, I usually dance in higher heels than the ones I am wearing now, and at this moment, I feel my legs trembling, with nerves.
