Chapter 106 It Will Be Enough

• POV: Adam.
• As I suspected from early on, I couldn't get rid of my mother until after noon. It's not that I wanted to ignore her, nothing like that, but my mother can be annoying when she gets an idea in her head. Today, my immediate future.
• According to her, it's time for me to look for a formal relationship to settle down and start a family. Well, it's not far from what I would want at some point in my life, but honestly, it's not something I believe I need right now. Up to that point, everything was fine, the annoying part came when she tried to force upon me what, according to her, is the woman I need. Anyway, a whole morning wasted. And as it can't be otherwise, because my mother always gets her way, I'm sure that her supposed plan for lunch tomorrow is to introduce me to one of her friends' daughters. I could tell her that I'm not interested, that those "suitable" women for me are not what I'm looking for and certainly not what I need. I could tell her that, until today, only one woman has come close to exceeding my expectations and leaving me speechless and completely confused about what I feel when I think of her.
