Chapter 94 Violet

• I sat in the lounge of Lachlan and Hattie’s house, Devin snuggled up asleep on my knee, watching Lachlan pacing up and down the floor. He had been doing that since the moment he heard they had taken her. If he continued the way he was going, they would end up with a hole in the floor! I gradually eased my way off the sofa, and motioned to Lachlan to show me where to place Devin, so he could continue his nap.
• He gently took him from my arms, pulled him into his chest and kissed his head, before walking out of the lounge to the stairs, I assume to take him to his bedroom.
