Chapter 39 Tate
- Odyn pushes forward to shift, my body allowing the seemless transition from human form to wolf form. Wanting to be alongside Azaria, Violet’s wolf, and there would be no better way to do that than to be in our wolf form, able to run with her. Our mate. She was a beautiful, almost jet-black wolf, with a shimmer of almost silver to her fur. And the most beautiful, dark blue, eyes. Such unusual colouring to her wolf, so stunningly beautiful, and she was my mate .I had been truly blessed.
- Odyn quickly howls in response to the small howl coming from Azaria. I assume from the fact Odyn had told me that Azaria had told him what Violet was thinking earlier that they have been communicating, so that cannot be a bad thing. They will want one another as mates, even if Violet is uncertain. I am sure of that. That would be normal, that would be how the mate bond is expected to work. Though Violet may not realise that just yet, depending on how much she had read up on it in the book.
- He begins to run to catch up with his mate. I can already sense his excitement. He has been waiting for this moment, I know that. I had never been too fussed about mates. Yet the moment I met Violet, something in me changed. She changed that. She is different, I know that. I just hope to the moon goddess that she decides I am right for her.
