Chapter 108 Tate
- The warriors are in place and beginning the first stage of their attack. Lachlan and I are en route to attempt to meet with Damien. Or I should say turn up at the cabin where they had Hattie locked up. The fact he had not answered our calls had meant there was no other option but to go in with men on the ground. He could have avoided all this if he had just handed Violet over. Yet he seemed so reluctant to do so. Such a fool. We do not want to start a war with a neighboring pack. Of course we don't, but we see no other option. They have my mate.
- He will be regretting his actions now, with our warriors invading their pack. Our warriors are some of the best trained in the country. There was no denying that. Damien’s pack were nothing compared to ours. We had built ourselves up over the years, refined our troops, our skills, made ourselves stronger, and now I knew why. Discovering about the family history, it all made sense. They were preparing to protect a gifted wolf, to fix past mistakes.
- I just hate that it was my mate. Hate that is my mate that we are on the verge of losing. Damien should not have had the chance to get her. I can’t believe Violet would leave me to hand herself over to him. I thought she would want to be by my side. With her mate. That hurt me, but then I know from what Hattie had told me she had handed herself in, so Hattie could come home. That was her only reasoning. That, and to stop any more suffering for our pack.
