Chapter 34 Violet

• I sit at the breakfast bar in Tate’s small kitchen, while he begins to make breakfast. I put the book down on the countertop. I really don’t feel in the right frame of mind for reading today. Not after what just happened. He kissed me. I don’t know why. He wouldn’t give me an answer, other than sorry.
• All I know is it felt good. But I got to keep this normal between us. He is taking my lesson today, perhaps longer if Devin isn’t well for any longer. Plus, I like Tate being around. I hadn’t lied when I told him I had missed him. And knowing he had missed me too had given me goosebumps, not to mention made my heart race. I don’t know why. Well, other than the fact I think I may have a tiny little teenage crush on him.
• “Here you go doll” Tate disturbs my thoughts by placing a steaming hot mug of coffee in front of me. “You look like you are off in another world” he smiles.
