Chapter 107 Violet

• I looked at my grandfather, sitting at the table with his head in his hands. “You didn’t plan to keep me and use my gifts?” I stuttered in shock.
• “No, of course not. I understand why you would think that. Of course, you would. Considering the things they have said to you, you are going to think the worst of me. Everybody does. And I have long since accepted that, as much as it hurts. But no, Violet, I brought you here because I desperately need your help to help my great-grandson.” He whispers.
• What he has said registers in my brain. And I feel a cold chill. Maybe we had all misjudged this man. The hurt in his voice was clear when he described the fact he had accepted people thinking the worst of him. I don't think he is the man they think he is... but then I focused on something else he said.
