Chapter 100 Damien
- I rushed back to pack from leaving Violet in the cabin. This dashing back and forth was getting tiresome already. With Hattie, I kept her in the cabin as I knew my pack would be the first place they would come to look for her and I would have lost my bargaining tool had they got her back.
- But for Violet, it was somewhat different. Yes, because I plan to keep her for some time now, I know it would be easier to have her locked up in the pack somewhere, so she was nearby and easier to get to and from to cut out all the rushing around. But it would be too risky. I did not want any chance of the news of her being in my possession getting out. Especially not to the Alpha family or any other higher ups. Even saying she was visiting family for me, would bring questions, considering the nature and history of my family. It was not worth the risk. So, after much consideration, I had decided the pack was not going to be ideal and for now the cabin was best, perhaps moving her at a later date. She was my granddaughter after all, and I did not want her to be uncomfortable.
- Coming through the pack gates, it was quite busy at this time of night, people returning from work shifts and duties, and children playing out enjoying the late evening sunshine. I checked the time and realized time was running out, so I dashed straight to the Pack hospital, to see my grandson and his mate before visiting hours were over. This was part of my daily routine as of late, and I did not want to miss the visiting time, as I would feel terrible to do that.
