Chapter 118 Violet

• The scene surrounding me is suddenly mayhem. I feel a pair of strong arms around me pulling me back. Embracing my trembling body as I take in the terror occurring in front of me. Tate’s voice is next to my ears as my body is shivering. “Don’t move Vi, I do not want you getting hurt.”
• Move? I am not sure if I could! I am in shock. I have seen wolves since being in the pack. Of course, I have. It was a werewolf pack after all. It is a daily occurrence people letting their wolf out for a run. I have seen Tate’s wolf, Odyn, many times now since that first time. Plus, I have seen Hattie’s wolf too, and Lachlan’s when we have all spent time together, beginning to train together, or just spending time together.
• But one thing I have not seen is wolves when they are shifting to attack. And right now my grandfather and Lachlan have shifted to attack. Their bodies altering quickly, so much quicker than mine ever did, the seamless alteration of human limbs into wolf body parts was so fast. Anyone not having seen this before, and it would truly blow their mind! I have seen it numerous times now, but it still blew mine, though normally it was not under these circumstances, not usually this fast, not under this pressure nor what I believe is attack…
