- Max rarely came across such a formidable opponent, which explained the solemness in his attitude. Dexter stood frozen beside him as he held his breath. Dexter had been working under Max ever since he graduated from university and it had been a while since he last saw Max behaving in such an austere manner. His own inability to solve the problem at hand made Dexter feel ashamed.
