Chapter 29 What Do You Mean by That, Max?

• Caitlin checked the time, only to realize that it was almost eight o’clock. She could make it in time if there were no traffic jams along the way, but the problem lies with the fact that she didn’t know the location of the factory.
• Max happened to have sent her the coordinates of the factory at that exact moment, informing her of the exact location as well as reminding her to drive safely. It irked her so much that she texted him a gruff reply, ‘You b*stard!’
• A smile tugged at the corner of Max’s lips as he read the text, visibly in much better spirits. Dexter waited by Max while observing the latter closely; despite his general silence, he had made all the necessary arrangements for when Caitlin would arrive.
