Chapter 31 Don’t Be So Cruel

• Max was admiring Caitlin’s driving skills when he noticed a change of direction in which the car was headed and he narrowed his eyes as soon as he saw that. The car sped toward the fence, which caused Max’s expression to drastically change. “Caitlin!” He made a mad dash for the car.
• There was a loud bang before Dexter and the others could react; Caitlin’s car had crashed into the fence. The force of the impact tore the fence asunder while sparks flew around, but the car had continued to glide for approximately two hundred meters before crashing again into a stone pillar, which caused the car to be flipped over.
• The crowd was frozen to the spot, as the accident had occurred so suddenly that nobody had the time to react. Max felt his heart nearly leaping out of his throat as he yelled while running toward the site of the car crash, “Dexter, call an ambulance! Someone get an extinguisher! Quickly!”
