• Although Caitlin wasn’t sure what the device was for, she replied solemnly, “I’m not sure either. I only went to Heaven of Debauchery after leaving the sanatorium, and I didn’t drop by anywhere else.”
• “The clubhouse belongs to the Dark Empire of the Cooper Family, so they couldn’t possibly try to set such a trap. The only possibility would be that somebody tinkered with Dexter’s car.” Max wore a dark expression as he thought about it. Dexter was always on the road, and he might be targeted by someone who then tinkered with his car. The thought of it caused his gaze to darken even further.
