Chapter 71

  • Lillian’s eyes fluttered open, a sharp pain shooting through her head as she struggled to orient herself. She realized with growing horror that she was tied to a chair in the middle of a dusty, dimly lit living room. Panic surged through her as she tested her bonds, finding them unforgiving and tight. “Help! Somebody, help me!” she screamed, her voice echoing off the cracked walls. But there was no response, only the eerie silence of the abandoned house.
  • Minutes later, she heard the ominous sound of footsteps approaching. Her heart raced as she strained to see who was coming. The door creaked open, and Mrs. Rojas walked in, her face twisted into a cruel smile, followed by the muscular, tattooed man who had abducted her.
  • “Mrs. Rojas!” Lillian shouted, desperation in her voice. “Please, let me go!”
