- Lillian sat on the veranda, the afternoon sun casting a warm glow over her. She placed a hand on her growing belly, feeling the gentle movements within. It had been getting harder to hide her pregnancy, especially with her stomach beginning to bulge noticeably. The reality of her condition was becoming impossible to conceal.
- Mrs. Rojas had been acting unusually kind and attentive lately, a change that didn't go unnoticed by Lillian. The older woman would often bring her herbal teas and insist on her resting more. Today was no different.
