Chapter 60 UNUSUAL BUT QUITE FAMILIAR

  • A strike of a match burns the pallets of wood piled on the sand at the beach, while the fire burns as I sat back and enjoyed the beautifully lit moon, and the soothing sounds of the ocean with my brother and Thad and a few others who were also there to join in the warmth from the fire that Lawrence had made. We all gathered to have a good amount of time before another week ends and another week will start for everyone of us. It was such a relaxing evening, the stars filled the sky and the sound of the water from the sea was the only one who filled the surroundings along with the guy who was playing guitar in the same circle around the bonfire as there were other people talking and laughing as well.
  • “Am I getting older or is it just me?” Lawrence hollered.
